Broadband Stimulus Information

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

In response to the Broadband NOFA of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act released on July 14, 2009, Connect Arkansas has submitted three applications (Arkansas State Broadband Data and Delivery Program, Expanding Broadband Use in Arkansas–Sustainable Adoption, Expanding Broadband Use in Arkansas–Public Computer Access) to implement a collaborative effort with the goal of dramatically increasing citizen use of broadband internet.

Connect Arkansas was notified in December 2009 that it did not receive first round funding. On January 22, 2010, notification was received regarding second round funding. Connect is working diligently to submit applications for this round by the March 15 deadline. When we receive notice on round two funding, it will be posted on this website.
